At 0939 hours on Thursday, the Hose Company & Company 5-9 were alerted for the 10-50 at the I-95 & MD-155 (Level Road) interchange. As units were marking up, Harford County Department of Emergency Services advised that Havre de Grace Police were on scene reporting entrapment. Safety Officer 5 was first on scene at 0944 and reported a two vehicle crash with one off the roadway & confirmed entrapment. Quint 535 was next on scene at 0947 hours and quickly went to work stabilizing the vehicle & stretching the pre-connected combi-tool for extrication, while Engine 512 followed & stretched a line for cover and Engine 514 controlled a minor spill from the vehicle in the roadway. Command reported the patient extricated at 1002 hours & crews began picking up. Two patients were transported by Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps & Level Volunteer Fire Company to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Safety Officer 5 (Hurst) held the command.
