On Wednesday December 5th at 1341 hours the Hose Company was alerted for 2 Engines and the Tower to respond and assist on the working house fire in the 100 block of North Main Street in Port Deposit in the 700 box area. Tower 5 with 4Engine 515 with 8 and Engine 512 with 6 marked up at 1343 hours and arrived at 1355 hours. Chief 7 was first to arrive and advised of a working fire. Tower 5 arrived as the 2nd due ladder company and assumed those responsiblities. Engine Companies 515 and 512 staged and were later released. Come to find out construction workers on the roof were using a torch to loosen some shingles and ignited the shingles and sheathing. A quick knock was put on the fire by E72s crew.
