On Friday evening at 1800 hours House 5 held their annual Christmas dinner at the Bayou Restaurant. The evening began with a video by Fastest Volunteer Productions which contained photos and videos of the past years incidents and trainings. After completion of the video the House 5 Officers gave out several awards which included House 5 Firefighter of the Year. The 2007 House 5 Firefighter of the Year award was presented to Firefighter Jeremy Goble. An award was also presented to Firefighter Tom Phelan and wife Debbie for their hard work and dedication on the Longaberger Basket Raffle that they put together every year for House 5. Chaplain Roth and Chaplain Axtell were also presented with awards for their dedicated service to House 5 and the Hose Company. Following the award presentations dinner was served. Upon completion of dinner House 5 members and spouses enjoyed a social hour.
