On Thursday night the Rescue Box was struck for Interstate 95 Northbound in the area of mile marker 91.0. Deputy Chief 5 Chief 5-1 Chief 5-2 Engine 512 w7 Engine 515 w10 and Rescue 5 w10 marked up shortly after alert. Dispatch advised all units that they received multiple reports advising of a two vehicle MVA with subjects trapped. Utility 597 Company 5-9 was first to arrive confirmed the initial reports and advised of one in trauma arrest. As Hose Company units were arriving the scene personnel from Utility 597 were able to free the subject from the vehicle and began CPR. Hose Company units assisted with patient care and also removed all hazards. A total of 6 patients were transported by Company 5-9 Cecil County Station 6 and Cecil County Station 72. Hose Company crews remained on scene until all patients were transported and then cleared. Deputy Chief 5 Packard had the Interstate 95 command.
