The Hose Company Officers and members are proud to announce that the renovation plans for House 5 have recently been approved by the City Council. The project will begin in the late summer and will include the following upgrades-1 additional bay with a clear bay door-Existing bay doors will be replaced by a clear door as well-Co-ed bunk room with 4 bunks sleep a total of 8-Shower and 12 lockers-Speaker systems for Harford County Radio-Sprinkler system-Covered patio with ceiling fans-New pitched front roof-New epoxy bay floors-Training room with seating for 24 equipped with state of the art audio and visual appliances. Each table will have computer hook up.-Mud room with shower and a heavy duty washer and dryer-New office and new watch room with fire company computer system-Motorola fsa4000 alerting system to automatically open bays doors turn on lights and in house alarm to sound when alerted for a fire call-Existing storm water manegment pond to be located under ground. This will provide additional parking.Bids for the project will be sent out in the next week to three companies. The Hose Company would like to send a special thanks to the Mayor and City Council.
