pThursday was another busy day for the Hose Company.nbsp The day started off at 0713 hoursnbspwith a report of smoke in the basement of a townhouse on Lewis Lane see story below.nbsp The day continued with a cardiac arrest at 1145 hours handled by Chief 5-1 Mini-Pumper 545 Rescue 551 and Company 5-9.nbsp While on the scene of the cardiac arrest the Hose Company was alerted for an Engine to respond to Cecil County Box 605 for a woods fire see story below.nbsp Shortly after returning from the cardiac arrest Mini-Pumper 545 was alerted to respond to the 605 box see story below.nbsp While E512 and MP545 were on the scene of the woods fire the Hose Company was alerted for a report of a building fire at Harford Memoral Hospital at 1337 hours.nbsp Engine 513 Engine 514 and Tower 531 called enroute immediately after alert.nbsp E514 was first to arrive at 1338 hours and advised there was no fire only to find a malfunctioning smoke detector on the fourth floor.nbsp Company 1 was alerted to respond an engine due to Engine 515 being out of service for the day Company 2 was alerted to respond Tower 231 and Cecil County Station 6 was also alerted to respond an engine.nbsp All mutual aide units were cancelled by command.nbsp The day continued on with the Hose Company being alerted at 1529 hours to assist on the 605 box once again see story below.nbsp On a side note the Hose Company has doubled the amount of calls for March compared to last year.p
