On Tuesday evening, Hose Company crews gathered at Tidewater Marina for the monthly company wide drill. This month’s drill focused on Marine 552 supplying land based units, specifically Tower 531 & Quint 535. Crews took part in several evolutions, including the Marine unit pumping a 5″ line with a wye to (2) 3″ lines supplying the Tower & Quint and another evolution pumping a 5″ line to the Quint & (2) 3″ lines to the Tower simultaneously. During these evolutions, crews were able to flow a combined 1550GPM between the Tower & Quint. It was a great night of training for all members that attended.
