Auto Fire – Northbound I-95 milemarker 90.4 – 9/15/17 @ 1527hrs
Quint 5 first on scene at 1534 with fire showing from the engine compartment of the minivan. Crew stretched 200′ preconnect & quickly extinguished the fire. Engine 512 stretched a 3″ line to the Quint, incase their tank water was needed (proved negative), and provided manpower to assist. Crews were clear of the highway just prior to 1600hrs. Captain 5-5 (Myers) held the I-95 command.
