On Tuesday evening the Hose Company was alerted for the auto fire on northbound Interstate 95 in the area of exit 89. Chief 5-1 Engine 511 Engine 512 Engine 515 marked up shortly after alert. Dispatch advised all units that they were receiving multiple reports of an auto well off. Chief 5-1 was first to arrive and confirmed the same. Engine 515 was next to arrive and was instructed to place a one and three quarter inch hand line in service. As Engine 515s crew was knocking the fire Engine 512 arrived and were instructed to assist Engine 515s crew. Crews made quick work of the auto and units were available within 10 minutes.
