pOn Sunday afternoon the Hose Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm at the Corner House Apartments on Stokes Street.nbsp Shortly after initial alert dispatch upgraded the assignment and struck out a box for a reported apartment fire with subjects trapped.nbsp Deputy Chief 5 Chief 5-2 Engine 512 Engine 513 Engine 514 Engine 515 Mini-Pumper 545 Rescue 551 and Tower 531 called enroute shortly after alert.nbsp Cecil County Station 6 was also alerted for an engine as well as Company 2 for Tower 231.nbsp Chief 5-2 was first to arrive and advised of nothing evident however as he entered the structure found smoke conditions on the interior.nbsp Engine 514 was next to arrive and began a primary search of the reported apartment on fire.nbsp Engine 514s crew found a pot of food left on the stove and confirmed there were no subjects trapped.nbsp Remaining units arrived the scene shortly after and crews began ventilating the apartment building with positive pressure fans and smoke ejectors.nbsp Crews were committed for approximately 15 minutes and then cleared.p
