On Saturday night Company 5 was alerted for a building fire at thenbspTidewater Grille Restaurant.nbsp Chief 5-1 Chief 5-2 BattalionnbspChief 5 Engine 512 Engine 513 Engine 515 Rescue 551 and Tower 531nbspcalled enroute shortly after alert.nbsp Dispatch advised all unitsnbspthat the caller reported smoke coming from a vent in the area of thenbspfront entrance.nbsp Chief 5-1 was first to arrive and advised therenbspwas nothing evident.nbsp Units were commited for approximately 10nbspminutes and came to find that a motor to a ventilation fan had caughtnbspfire however was now out.nbsp Shortly after the units went in the station the Hose Company was thennbspalerted for a fire alarm sounding at the Seneca Way Apartments.nbspEngine 512 was first to arrive and advised of nothing evident.nbspCrews came to find that a smoke detector was malfunctioning and therewas no problem at location.
