pOn Tuesday morning at approximately 0940 the Hose Company was alerted for a reportednbspapartment fire on Red Head Way.nbsp Deputy Chief 5 Engine 512 Engine 514 Engine 515 Mini-Pumper 545 Rescue 551 amp Tower 531 called enroute shortly after alert.nbsp Dispatch advised all units that the caller reported a sparking outlet with an odor of electrical burning.nbsp Mini-Pumper 545 which was on the air enroute to training was first to arrive and advised of nothing evident.nbsp The crew of the Mini-Pumper entered the apartment and located a sparking surge protector.nbsp As remaining units were arriving the Mini-Pumpers crew cut the power to the apartment and removed the surge protector.nbsp Command then instructed Engine 515s crew to report to the apartment with their thermal imaging camera to check for any extension.nbsp No extension was found and units cleared shortly after.nbsp Deputy Chief 5 Packard had the Red Head Way command.p
