CARBON MONOXIDE LEAK WITH ONE TRANSPORTED

pOn Sunday at 2147 hours the Hose Company and Company 5-9 were alerted for the possible carbon monoxide leak with one possible patient at 518 Franklin Street.nbsp Chief 5 Chief 5-1 Chief 5-2 Engine 512 amp Tower 5 marked up shortly after alert.nbsp Upon arrival crews found levels of CO ranging from 200 to 300 parts per million.nbsp While Hose Company crews were venting the dwelling Company 5-9 was evaluating a single patient who was eventually transported to a local hospital.nbsp The cause of the leak was determined to be a generator that had been running for hours on the first floor.nbsp Crews cleared once the dwelling was vented.brppAs a reminder if youre going to have a gas powered generator running it needs to be OUTSIDE.brp
