On Sunday afternoon at approximately 1300 hours the Hose Company was alerted for an Engine Rescue to assist Cecil County Station 6 on the 10-50 PI on northbound Interstate 95. Chief 5 Deputy Chief 5 Engine 515 w6 and Rescue 5 w6 marked up shortly after alert. Chief 5 Deputy Chief 5 and Cecil Engine 614 were first to arrive and advised of a multi-vehicle 10-50 located northbound on the Millard Tydings Bridge. Engine 515 was next to arrive and was instructed by command to check for any hazards assist with patient care. Engine 515s crew located two fuel spills from two of the seven vehicles involved which they controlled with absorbent. Shortly after Engine 515s arrival command advised that the Engine Company would handle and placed Rescue 5 ready. Hose Company crews remained on scene for approximately 20 minutes and then cleared. Chief 5 Hurst had the Interstate 95 command.
