Utility 55, with four volunteers, and Chief 5 assisted with a reported active assailant at the Harford Mall this afternoon. The crew reported to the designated staging area, before being moved to the scene for a short time.
Utility 55 is due on all reported active assailant incidents within Harford County. The apparatus is equipped with ballistic vests, Rescue Task Force medical bags, forcible entry equipment and other items needed for these incidents.
