SHCo crews, along with mutual aid from Aberdeen Fire Department, Inc., The Community Fire Company of Perryville Md. Inc, APG FD & Perry Point FD, extinguished a chimney fire in the 700block of Earlton Road, just after 3:30 this afternoon. Crews found fire in the chimney with minor extension to the roof area surrounding the chimney. Crews were committed for approximately one hour before returning to service.
