On Sunday afternoon at the same time as the 10-50 PI was alerted the Hose Company was alerted for the field fire in the 504 box area on Webb Lane. Chief 5-2 Engine 512 w4 Engine 514 w4 Mini-Pumper 5 w4 marked up shortly after alert. Engine 512 was first to arrive and advised of a large wood pile on fire with exposure to several trees. Engine 512s crew deployed a one three-quarter inch pre-connected hand line and began knocking the fire. Engine 514 was next to arrive supplied Engine 512 with their tank water and assisted Engine 512s crew with extinguishing the wood pile. Mini-Pumper 5 was next to arrive and was advised by command to hit a nearby plug and supply Engine 512 with a three inch line and then send their crew to assist. As all hands were working command requested Engine 513 and Rescue 5 to make their response to the scene non-emergency. Engine 513 w3 and Rescue 5 w6 marked up immediately after alert and arrived shortly there after. Crews were on scene for approximately one hour and then cleared. Chief 5-1 Carroll had the Webb Lane command.
