pOn Monday at approximately 1207 hours the Hose Company was alerted for a gas leak outside in the 400 block of Village Drive. By 1210 hours Chief 5-1 Engine 512 Engine 514 Engine 515 Mini-Pumper 545 Rescue 551 and Tower 531 were on the street. Engine 514 was first to arrive at 1211 hours and advised a contractor had struck a gas line. Command then requested a response from Baltimore Gas Electric. As remaining units were arriving the crew from Engine 514 was checking area residences for any levels of gas. No levels of gas were found in any of the area houses. Hose Company units remained on the scene until the arrival of BGE and then cleared. Chief 5-1 Hurst had the Village Drive command.p
