This afternoon, the contracts were signed for the purchase of a new Engine and Quint, to replace the current Engine 513 and Quint 5. E-ONE Fire Trucks (Official Site) was awarded both contracts, with delivery expected in 34 months.
Engine 513: Typhoon Style 8 person cab, 750 gallons of water, 20 gallons Class A foam, Stainless Steel Rescue Style body, low hose bed, FireTech scene lighting, Hale Qmax 1500 GPM pump
Quint 5: Cyclone Style 8 person cab, 500 gallons of water, 20 gallons Class A foam, Hale Qmax 1500 GPM pump, 100’ Aluminum Ladder, full compliment of ground ladders and rescue tools
These apparatus mark the fourth and fifth E-ONE’s purchased by the #SHCo since 2016.
