On Sunday at 2356 hours the Hose Company was alerted for an Engine and Mini-Pumper 5 to assist on the second alarm house fire on Glenville Road in the 102 box area. Deputy Chief 5 Chief 5-2 Engine 515 and Mini-Pumper 5 marked up shortly after alert. Engine 113 was first on scene and advised of heavy fire showing from the one and a half story dwelling. While Hose Company units were still enroute the Hose Company was alerted for an Engine to relocate to Company 1 which was handled by Engine 512. Deputy Chief 5 Chief 5-2 and Engine 515 arrived at 0011 hours and were instructed by command to have their crew report to the scene and have the engine dump its tank load in to Tanker 121. Deputy Chief 5 was instructed to command water operations and Mini-Pumper 5 was instructed to report to the Churchville Pond and setup a draft. After being in station at Company 1 for approximately 15 minutes Engine 512 was instructed by command to report to the scene. Hose Company crews carried out various tasks instructed by command and remained on scene until approximately 0200 hours. Also during this time Engine 513 relocated to Company 1 while Engine 512 was pulled to the scene. Chief 1-2 had the Glenville Road command.
