pOn Wednesday at 1643 hours the Hose Company was alerted for an engine to respond as part of the box assignment for 728 Custis Street in the 213 box area.nbsp Engine 512 w6 which was enroute to a 10-50 PI in the 541 box area marked up immediately after alert.nbsp Engine 215 was first to arrive at 1647 hours with heavy fire showing from a middle of the group townhouse with exposures on the bravo and delta sides.nbsp Engine 512 which was instructed by command to take the charlie side arrived shortly after Engine 215 and quickly went to work.nbsp During this time the Hose Company was alerted for two additional engines and Tower 5 to fill out the box.nbsp Deputy Chief 5 Engine 513 w6 Engine 515 w10 and Tower 5 w6 marked up immediately after alert.nbsp Upon arrival crews were assigned multiple tasks by command.nbsp At 1651 hours command requested the 2nd alarm assignment.nbsp Command placed the fire under control at approximately 1720 hours and crews remained on scene until 1938 hours.nbsp Chief 2 Reith held the quotCustis Streetquot command.ppDuring this time Engine 511 Rescue 5 and Mini-Pumper 5 remained attended and Cecil County Engine 72 relocated to House 1.ppOther calls for the daypp1435 hours Engine 512 on the gas leak inside in the Cecil County 601 boxpp1639 hours 10-50 PI infront of 1300 Pulaski Highwaypp1800 hours 10-50 PI on the Millard J Tydings Bridgepp2050 hours Chief 5-2 and Engine 515 on the chimney fire in the 140 boxp
