Just after 6pm, last night, the #SHCo was dispatched as part of the rescue assignment for the reported MVC with rescue, on southbound I-95 @ milemarker 87.8. Chief 5-2 was first on scene & reported a single vehicle off the roadway, with the driver trapped. Level Volunteer Fire Company Rescue Engine 1, with assistance from Quint 5, quickly stabilized the vehicle and removed the driver’s door to extricate the patient. The patient was then transported to Christiana Trauma via Harford County Department of Emergency Services Medic 1. Chief 5-2 held the I-95 command.
