On Thursday night at 2220 hours the Hose Company was alerted for the dumpster fire at One Stop Liquors 903 Pulaski Highway in the 540 box area. Deputy Chief 5 Chief 5-1 Chief 5-2 Engine 511 w5 Engine 512 w4 Engine 514 w5 and Utility 572 w2 marked up shortly after alert. Deputy Chief 5 was first to arrive at 2223 hours with fire showing from the dumpster. Engine 512 was next to arrive and placed a one and three-quarter inch hand line in service and began knocking it. Shortly after Engine 512s arrival command held the assignment to Engine 512 Engine 511. Hose Company crews remained on scene for approximately 10 minutes and then cleared after racking up. Deputy Chief 5 Packard Jr. held the Pulaski Highway command.
