After 1900 the company was alerted for an engine assist to Aberdeen Volunteer Fire Department for a dwelling fire. Engine 514 with 9 called enroute shortly after the alert. While enroute the additional information given from dispatch was a reported drier fire with an audible smoke detector sounding. Engine 215 was the first to arrive with smoke showing and quickly upgraded to a working fire. The working fire dispatch brought another engine from the Hose Company engine 512 with 5. E-514 arrived supply E-215with their tank water and the crews headed inside to vent and check the attic for extension. The fire was quickly brought under control by 215s crew. Units remained on scene for a short period of time.
