On Wednesday at 0615 hours the Hose Company was alerted for an Engine to relocate to Cecil County Station 8 while their units were working on a house fire on Harrisville Road. At 0618 hours the Hose Company was then alerted for two Engines to respond to the scene as command requested the 2nd alarm assignment. Engine 512 w4 and Engine 515 w6 marked up shortly after alert. As the Engine Companies were approaching the scene command advised them to park the wagons on Harrisville Road and have their crews report to side alpha. The Engine Companies arrived shortly after and were put to work. Engine 512s crew was instructed to report to the side delta apartment and begin opening up. Engine 515s crew was instructed to report to division two and begin opening up. After finishing opening up on the first floor Engine 512s crew met up with Engine 515s crew on division two and assisted opening up and hitting hot spots. Crews made quick work and then began backing out. Hose Company crews remained on scene for approximately 30 additional minutes and then cleared.
