On Monday afternoon the Hose Company was alerted to respond an engine for the house fire with people trapped on Cambridge Avenue in the 212 box area. Engine 512 marked up shortly after alert. Shortly after Engine 512s response the Hose Company was alerted for a second engine to respond to fill out the box assignment. Engine 515 marked up immediately. Engine 215 was first on the scene with fire showing and confirmed subjects were trapped. Engine 512 Engine 515 arrived shortly after and were instructed by command to complete various tasks. As all hands were working the Hose Company was alerted for an engine to relocate to Company 2 House 1. Engine 514 marked up shortly after alert however was cancelled enroute. Hose Company units were on the scene for approximately 40 minutes and then cleared. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the State Fire Marshals Office. Chief 2-1 Budnick had the Cambridge Avenue command.
