On Sunday Station 52 sent Engine Company 512 with 10 volunteers to the West Chester Training Center in West Chester PA. Here the volunteers split into crew and preformed engine and truck company operations. Crews spent all day performing these task as well as taking some pretty intense heat. Through out the day the TIC picked up some temperatures right around 1000 degrees F. All that attended had a great time and scored some great training. Of course we stopped at a nice family restaurant for dinner on the way home the mascot of this particular facility happens to be an OWL
