nbspOn Monday at 0528 hours the Hose Company was alerted for an Engine amp Tower as part of the Cecil County 600 Fire Box for the reported apartment fire at 500 Concord Drive. nbspEngine 512 amp Tower 5 marked up shortly after alert. nbspCecil Engine 11 was first on scene with smoke showing from the two story apartment building. nbspEngine 512 was next on scene after laying out from the plug just inside the court. nbspAt that time Engine 11s crew advised a sprinkler had extinguished a fire in the utilitywash room and requested Engine 512s crew to open up. nbspA small amount of fire was found in the crawlspace below amp Operations Deputy Chief 5 requested the Towers crew to open up a larger portion of the floor for better access amp also set up PPV. nbspEngine 11s pipe hit the hot spots as the crews of Station 6 Engine 512 amp Tower 5nbspcontinued to check for extension. nbspSearches of the apartment building were also being conducted during this time. nbspThe cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Maryland State Fire Marshals Office amp Assistant 6-1 McGuirk held the command.
