On Saturday May 17th and Sunday May 18th the Susquehanna Hose Company hosted an Engine Company Operations class at the Perry Point VA Medical Center. This is the 3rd class put on for the Company by Traditions Training. The class focused on successfully getting water onto the fire. A variety of obstacles can complicate your ability to get water to the fire long distances obstacles building configurations etc. The class consisted of 16-hours of street-proven hoseline tips. Students were taught a variety of hose-load options and the importance of team-work and problem-solving to overcome these challenges.
