On Wednesday evening 1710 hours the Hose Company was alerted for Rescue 551 to respond and assist Company 2 on a 10-50 PI Rescue on Interstate 95.nbsp Chief 5-1 Chief 5-2 amp Rescue 551 with a total of 10 volunteers marked up by 1712 hours.nbsp Engine 515 with 9 also marked up 1712 hours amp advised they would be staging Route 155 amp Interstate 95 and advised command to notify them if they would be needed.nbsp As units were calling enroute dispatch advised they were receiving multiple calls advising of a school bus overturnednbspin the area of milemarker 83.2 northboundnbspwith possibly multiple subjects trapped.nbsp Company 2 units were first to arrive confirmed the initial reports requested an ALS amp BLS strike team amp also requested aviation for atleast two subjects.nbsp Chief 5-1 amp Rescue 551 were the first Hose Company units to arrive and went to work.nbsp Crews assisted with extrication of several subjects amp also assisted with patient care.nbsp Shortly after arriving Chief 5-1 advised Engine 515 to make their response.nbsp Engine 515 arrived shortly after split in to two crews and went to work.nbsp Engine 515s first crew assisted with patient care and the second crew began to control fuel spills on the scene.nbsp A total of 54 patients were transported by bus or ambulance to various hospitals in the area amp a total of 3 patients were transported by Medevac to Johns Hopkins Pediatric Trauma Center.nbsp Hose Company crews were committed to the scene for approximately two hours and then began clearing.nbsp A job well done to all crews involved.nbsp Chief 2 Steve Hinch had the Interstate 95 Command.
