On Monday afternoon the Hose Company was alerted for an engine to relocate to Company 2 House 1 while their crews were on the scene of a dwelling fire in the 208 box. Engine 514 w6 marked up immediately after alert and arrived Company 2 approximately 5 minutes later. While at Company 2 Engine 514 was alerted for the auto fire on southbound Interstate 95 approximately 1 mile from the Maryland House Rest Area. Chief 5 was in the area and advised dispatch he would start that way. Chief 5 was first to arrive and advised of a minivan well off. Engine 514 arrived shortly after and placed a pre-connected one and three quarter inch hand line in service. Crews made quick work of the van and then cleared. Chief 5 Hurst had the Interstate 95 command.
