On Monday at 1157 hours, the Hose Company was alerted for an Engine to relocate to Cecil County Station 4, as their units were operating on a working house fire at 94 Grandview Avenue. First arriving crews from the North East Fire Company Inc. reported fire showing from both floors of a two story dwelling. As Engine 512 marked up for the transfer, command requested the Engine to the scene. Once on scene, the Engine took position to the rear of dwelling and had all lines off & working, including the deck gun, when crews transitioned to the defensive mode. At 1226 hours, Engine 513 was alerted to relocate to Cecil County Station 4. After marking up, they were also requested to the scene. Once on scene, they assisted with exterior fire attack & then extinguished hot spots on division one after crews transitioned back to the offensive mode.
