pFirefighters Bobby Mergler and Richard Boyd III were recognized as the Hose Company Firefighters of the Month for February 2011.nbsp Bobby was recognized for assisting Assistant Chief Allers with sewing name tags on turnout coats which was at no cost to the Hose Company.nbsp Firefighter Boyd III was recognized for serving as acting Chairman of the Investigating Committee for the last 6 months.nbsp Both men put in many hours serving the Hose Company and we greatly appreciate all of their hard work.nbsp brppThe Hose Company Training Committee was recognized as the Firefighters of the Month for March 2011.nbsp The committee consists of Deputy Chief Bob Goll Jr Captain Matty Bannon Captain Craig Triplett Lieutenant Lance Waller Lieutenant Steve Andrews Lieutenant Paul Ishak and Firefighter Brian Minutoli.nbsp With the help of these men the Hose Company logged over 3000 hours of training within the first quarter of 2011.nbsp The committee also planned and held a West Chester Training Day in February in which 29 Hose Company Volunteers took part in live burn training at the West Chester Training Facility.nbsp They also planned and held an auto extrication training night in March in which 50 Hose Company Volunteers attended.nbsp The Hose Company greatly appreciates all of their hard work and dedication.brppThe Firefighters of the Month for February and March will be recognized at the next City Council Meeting.brp
