pOn Wednesday at 2037 hours the 558 Fire Box was struck for the reported house fire at 233 Canvasback Drive. nbspAdditional remarks reported multiple calls for the attached garage on fire. nbspChief 5 was first on scene at 2039 hours with fire showing from the garage on the delta side of the two-story single family dwelling as well as two autos involved in the driveway. nbspQuint 5 was next on scene and assumed engine company operations laying out from a nearby plug and stretching an 1 34 handline through the front door. nbspAs the crew was knocking fire Engine 515 was next on scene picking up the Quints line. nbspTower 5 was next on scene positioned on side delta and began throwing ladders to the dwelling. nbspAfter multiple ladders were in position around the dwelling for firefighter egress the Towers crew reported to the interior to begin opening up and conduct searches. nbspEngine 514 laid a second supply line from the hydrant at Bufflehead Drive amp Pintail Drive which was picked up by Engine 511. nbspCommand reported crews were making good progress and the bulk of the fire was knocked at 2048 hours. nbspMinor extension was found on divisions one and two of the dwelling but a great stop was made holding the bulk of the fire to the garage.
