pOn Friday at 0042 hours the Hose Company was alerted to investigate smoke in the area in the 100 block of Bloomsbury Avenue. nbspAs units were investigating the area amp still marking up dispatch advised they were taking another report of an unknown type fire in the 900 block of Pulaski Highway. nbspEngine 514 was first on scene amp advised they were stretching on the one story commercial with fire showing. nbspEngine 512 was next on scene and stretched a second line. nbspCrews quickly began knocking fire and forced entry to check for extension. nbspThe bulk of the fire was held to the alpha side exterior with extension to the roof. nbspHose Company crews worked for approximately 2 hours hitting hot spots opening up amp assisting the FM. nbspThe cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Maryland State Fire Marshals Office amp Chief 5 held the command.ppOther units Deputy Chief 5 Chief 5-1 Ops Chief 5-2 Safety E513 E515 Q535 TW531 U572 U574 E211 transfer to Hs4ppFirst pictures courtesy of Dan McKinneyp
