pFirefighter Tom Phelan is being recognized as the Firefighter of the Month for December 2010.nbsp Tom is being recognized for his efforts at the Franklin Street Fire on December 13th 2010 a hrefhttpsusquehanna5.comfullstory.php123848susquehanna5.comfullstory.phpa.nbsp Tom assisted two occupants off the roof of the dwelling and also assisted an elderly female out of her apartment prior to the arrival of the Hose Company.nbsp Tom is well deserving of this award and will be recognized at the next City Council Meeting.ppCaptain Bill Reeder Lieutenant Steve Andrews Lieutenant Gail Reeder Firefighter Tom Phelan and Firefighter Rick Sova are also being recognized as the Hose Company Firefighters of the Month for the Life Saving efforts on December 14th 2010.nbsp These members were involved in a water rescue on the Chespeake Bay a hrefhttpsusquehanna5.comfullstory.php124289susquehanna5.comfullstory.phpa where two patients were pulled from the water and treated for hyperthermia.nbsp Many thanks and congratulations go to these members and they will be recognized at the next City Council Meeting.p
