pCaptain Joey Steelman Lieutenant Ron Cardwell and Firefighter Melvin Wolinski are Susquehanna Hose Companys Firefighters of the month for October.nbsp During the month of October these members put numerous hours into our Fire Prevention Program.nbsp This included visiting several daycares elementary schools as well as an evacuation drill at St. Johns Towers.nbsp These members also coordinated another very successful Open House on October 10.nbsp The Open House was attended by around 1000 people and included 2 vehicle fires a vehicle extrication fire engine rides a Dive Team demonstration and rides in the basket of our ladder truck.nbsp They also gave out food and snacks to all attending as well as fire prevention gifts for the kids and smoke detectors for those who needed them.nbsp Another great job by SHCOs Fire Prevention Committee.p
