pOn Friday at 1903 hours the 502 Fire Box was stuck for the report of fire from the window of 550 Franklin Street. nbspDeputy Chief 5 amp Chief 5-1 were first on scene at 1905 hours with fire showing from the alphabravo corner of a one-story commercial attached to a large three-story single family. nbspEngine 512 was next on scene at 1906 hours and stretched a 1.75 handline through the front door where they were met with a hrefhttpwww.firehouse.comnews10529720collyers-mansion-conditions fcksavedurlhttpwww.firehouse.comnews10529720collyers-mansion-conditionsCollyers Mansion Conditionsa. nbspAs a result zero visibility and a heavy fire load were present at which time command requested a 2nd alarm for additional manpower 1913 hours. nbspAs Engine 512s crew continued to knock fire inside crews from Quint 5 and Engine 211 reported to the roof of the original fire building to open up. nbspThose crews found fire extending to the roof and also to the walls of the delta exposure. nbspAs a result additional handlines were advanced to the roof of the main fire building and to the interior of the exposure where crews from Tower 5 and Engine Cos 511 513 514 amp 515 continued to open up. nbspAt 1932 hours command advised he had one firefighter from Engine 512 injured as a result of an electrocution and requested the evacuation tones to be sounded. nbspOnce utilities were controlled and crews regrouped operations transitioned back to an offensive attack. nbspCrews from the Hose Company Aberdeen Level ampnbspPerryville continued working until approximately 2200 hours and then returned to service. nbspOne additional firefighter from Engine 512 and a provider from Company 5-9 were also transported to a local hospital both with non-life threatening injuries. nbspChief 5 held the command and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Maryland State Fire Marshals Office. nbspThe three injured members are all now home and doing well.ppCrews did return to the scene at 0451 hours on Saturday for the report of a rekindle. nbspCrews once again found fire in the roof area of the main fire building with extension to the delta exposure. nbspThose crews worked until approximately 0730 hours before returning to service.ppMany thanks to all of our mutual aide companies for your assistance.ppa hrefhttpwww.baltimoresun.comvideogallery79312852Havre-de-Grace-fire-Raw-Video fcksavedurlhttpwww.baltimoresun.comvideogallery79312852Havre-de-Grace-fire-Raw-VideoRaw VideoappPictures courtesy Donny Collier amp Lindsay Kinderppp
