pOn Wednesday at 1854 hours the 504 box was struck 807 Giles Street reporting an apartment fire with people trapped.nbsp Chief 5 Deputy Chief 5 Chief 5-1 Chief 5-2 Engine 511 Engine 512 Engine 513 Engine 514 Engine 515 Mini-Pumper 5 Rescue 5 Tower 5 Utility 572 Utility 575 and Utility 587 marked up shortly after alert.nbsp Dispatch advised they received several reports of a house on fire with subjects possibly trapped.nbsp Engine 511 was first to arrive at 1856 hours with smoke showing from a two story dwelling converted to apartments.nbsp Remaining Hose Company units arrived shortly after and crews quickly went to work.nbsp A primary search of the building was conducted which proved negative and command advised a bedroom fire had been knocked at 1900 hours.nbsp Crews continued working conducting a secondary search which also proved negative and venting.nbsp One civilian was transported by Medic 592 to a local hospital for an undisclosed injury.nbsp All units were clear of the scene by 2006 hours with the exception of Engine 511 which remained on scene with the Maryland State Fire Marshals Office until 2132 hours.nbsp Chief 5 Hurst held the quotGiles Streetquot command.ppOther units on sceneppE213 E215 M291 M292 U596ppPhotos courtesy of Andrew Doylep
