Tuesday morning, just before 430am, crews from the SHCo, Aberdeen Fire Department, Inc., Aberdeen Proving Ground Fire & Emergency Services Local F-267 & Level Volunteer Fire Company worked this house fire in the 200 block of Seneca Avenue (0504 box area). Deputy Chief 5 was first on scene & reported fire showing from the one story duplex, with the report of animals trapped. Crews were able to save one dog, which was located in a bedroom with the door shut. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal.
