Just before 10pm on Thursday night, the 0504 box alarm was transmitted for the reported house fire in the 100 block of Weber Street. Engine 514 was first on scene and reported fire showing from the one story duplex. Crews found fire in the kitchen area, with extension, which was quickly brought under control. Searches of the dwelling, and exposure, were negative and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal.
