pOn Saturday afternoon the Hose Company was alerted for a report of an oil spill in the Susquehanna River.nbsp Chief 5-1 Chief 5-2 Utility 571 amp Marine 552 called enroute shortly after alert.nbsp Dispatch advised all units they received one call advising of a oil spill in the river directly below the Hatem Bridge Pulaski Highway.nbsp Engine 515 which was returning from their transfer detail marked up and advised they were coming across the bridge and would advise of any visible spill.nbsp As they were coming across the bridge they noticed a large area of water which appeared to be contaminated with oil.nbsp Marine 552 arrived the spill shortly after and confirmed that report.nbsp Dispatch then advised all units that on Friday evening DNR Police were doing a test in the water and that the spill could be from their test.nbsp Dispatch checked with DNR and DNR confirmed that they were testing in the area and there was no need for clean up.nbsp Hose Company units then cleared.p
