On Thursday evening 1827 hours the Hose Company as well as Company 2 for the Tower and Cecil County Station 6 for the truck were alerted for the gas leak inside 1900 Clark Road Solo Cup. Chief 5 Deputy Chief 5 Chief 5-1 Chief 5-2 Engine 512 Engine 513 Engine 514 Engine 515 Utility 572 and Utility 573 marked by 1830 hours. Chief 5-1 was first to arrive with nothing evident from a single story 500000 square foot building. Crews from the Hose Company Aberdeen Perryville worked to get the gas line shut off and ventilated the building. Crews remained on the scene until 2012 hours and then cleared. Chief 5Hurst had the Clark Road command.During this time Engine 214 relocated to House 4 and Air 161 was also requested to the scene by command.
