On Monday afternoon Company 5 was alerted for a gas leak that hadnbspsparked a fire on Lori Lane.nbsp Battalion Chief 5 Engine 512nbspEnginenbsp513 Engine 514 Rescue 551 and Utility 572 called enroute shortlynbspafter alert.nbsp Minipumper 545 was returning from Aberdeen and alsonbspcalled enroute.nbsp Engine 514 was first to arrive and advised that anbspconstruction crew struck a gas main and it had caught fire.nbsp Thenbspremaining apparatus called arrived shortly after and began evacuatingnbspthe houses in the area.nbsp Crews were commited for approximatelynbsp onenbsp hour before BGE arrived.
