On Thursday at 1814 hours Tower 5 was alerted for the possible animal rescue on South Stokes Street in the area of Alliance Street. Chief 5 Chief 5-2 and Tower 5 marked up shortly after alert and were advised by dispatch that there was a parrot stuck in a tree in that area. Chief 5 Chief 5-2 and Tower 5 arrived shortly after and confirmed the initial report. Tower 5 set up made access to the parrot and safely returned him to his owner. Chief 5 Hurst had the South Stokes Street command.
