pOn Thursday night the Hose Company was alerted for an odor of natural gas in the area of Chesapeake Drive and Seneca Avenue.nbsp Deputy Chief 5 Chief 5-1 Chief 5-2 Engine 512 Engine 513 Engine 514 Engine 515 Mini-Pumper 545 Tower 531 and Rescue 551 called enroute shortly after alert.nbsp Chief 5-2 was first to arrive and advised there was an odor in the area however the odor was not natural gas.nbsp Crews from Engine 514 and Tower 531 checked the area with gas meters and all checks came up negative.nbsp It was determined that the odor was coming from fertilizer in the area.p
