pThe Susquehanna Hose Company awarded 3 Firefighters of the Month for the month of June.nbspppChief Scott Hurst received firefighter of the month for his work overseeing and conducting the Insurance Services Office ISO Review.nbsp Many months of preparation went into the ISO Review and the SHCO received a Class 2 rating which SHCO shares with Baltimore City as the best in the State of Maryland.nbsp There are only 61 fire departments in the United States that have a better rating.nbsp Chief Hurst put hundreds of hours into the ISO review but acknowledges that its the members of the SHCO that deserves all the credit.nbsp quotIt was their hard work and dedication that put SHCO in this elite classquot.ppDeputy Chief Chad Packard also received firefighter of the month for assisting Chief Hurst with the ISO Presentation to the public on July 1st.nbsp Deputy Chief Packardnbspassembled a very informative slide show and presentation for the public.nbsp Deputy Chief Packard did a fantastic job explaining how the ISO works and the results from the review.ppCaptain Scott Pentz also received firefighter of the month for his hard work and dedication at this years Firemans Convention in Ocean City.nbsp Captain Pentz was in charge of making sure SHCO was well represented at different functions and making sure the other SHCO delegates carried out their duties.nbsp This was Scotts first year doing this and hopefully first of many years.nbsp Congrats to all of the Junes Firefighters of the Month.p
