On Wednesday evening at 1820 hours the box alarm was struck for 121 Gracecroft Court in the 556 box area. Deputy Chief 5 Chief 5-1 Chief 5-2 Engine 511 Engine 512 Engine 513 Engine 514 Engine 515 Mini-Pumper 5 Tower 5 and Rescue 5 marked up shortly after alert. Dispatch advised the Fastest Volunteers that a female received a call from her daughter who advised the house was on fire. Engine 515 was first to arrive at 1823 hours with light smoke showing from a two story middle of the group. As remaining units were arriving Engine 515s crew advanced an uncharged one and three quarter inch pre-connected hand line in to the dwelling. Crews found light smoke conditions and a popped sprinkler head in the kitchen which extinguished the fire. Shortly after command held the assignment to one and one placing the remainder of the units ready. Hose Company crews remained on scene until 1855 hours and then cleared. Deputy Chief 5 Packard had the Gracecroft Court command.
