On Saturday at 1036 hours the Hose Company was alerted for Marine 552 to respond amp assist Cecil County units on a boat fire in the North East River. nbspCecil County units were first on scene however became disabled due to rough seas. nbspMarine 552 was on scene shortly after alert amp advised they still had heavy smoke coming from the vessel. nbspThe crew cut the boat from anchor amp forced it towards shore for safe operations. nbspThe bulk of the fire was knocked by Marine 552s deck gun amp the crew then boarded the vessel to knock a few hot spots with a handline. nbspMarine 552 amp crew remained on scene until approximately 1130 hours and then cleared.
