On Monday at 1310 hours, the Hose Company along with Cecil Marine 5 & Marine 11 were alerted for the report of a kayaker in distress in the Susquehanna River near the Concord Point Lighthouse. Dispatch advised all units that they were receiving multiple reports of a male in the water, unable to make it to shore. Marine 552 arrived and pulled the subject from the water at 1317, at which point he denied the need for EMS. All units cleared shortly after.
